A Rainy Sunday Afternoon In The Backyard

To stave off cabin fever Bennett donned his snow gear and off into the backyard we went.

Finally after 6 years of marriage (which already feels like an eternity!!) I finally received my eternity ring. It was too difficult to find one ready made to slot into the top ofmy engagement ring so we went with a band under the wedding ring.

Georgia and Nicholas gave Bennett some cool crayola stuff for his birthday. Being such a yucky raining sunday we had great fun with it this morning.

Melbourne Storm Family Fun Day

Today we went to the Melbourne Storm Family Fun Day (free tix from Paul's work as a major sponser).

It was quite funny and definately reminded me why I moved to Victoria HAHA just kidding. There was about 500 people mostly club members so they were having a ball.

Bennett was down for his nap this afternoon and I could still hear him twittering away while I was on the computer. Then it got a little louder. I turned around.......














At least he knows where he can always find his mum!! Off to bunnings to get childproof handle locks I'm not ready for him to be ableto wander around the house alone.......

Easter Sunday.

After all the fun of the easter egg hunt we finally got moving and out the door by 1pm!!. We went out to Bacchus Marsh for a bush walk, and of course fish and chips for lunch at the worlds best fish and chip shop, which unfortunately we discovered is no longer that flash :o(. The walk was great though.

Bennett was soooooo exhausted after this huge day that he took himself off to bed!!!

Happy Easter

Bennett had a great time hunting for all the goodies the Easter Bunny left him this morning.....

Bennett was awfully quiet so Daddy went to investigate. He was brushing his teeth of course.

Welcome to two

Isnt this age just devine - NOT - Last night Bennett threw such a hissy fit that he made himself throw up!!! Do you want to know why?? He wanted his drink in a real glass not a sippy cup. When he was then given the glass he tipped it upside down. Straight to the thinking corner for Mr Bennett. Then he turned into the kid from the exorcist complete with spinning head and vomit!!!

Friday 7th - A very busy day.

Friday was hectic.
First we went to the plaza to get the remainder of Bennett's second year photos developed. Then on the the MCHN where Bennett had hsi 2 year old check up. The nurse was suitably impressed and his stats were

Height 90cm
Weight 14.5 kgs

Then it was off to the library for rhyme time. Amal and Zain couldn't make it today so we decided to be social and made a new friend, Ethan and his mummy Eileen. After the library we had to scoot to Geelong for Nicky D's 3rd birthday party. After that we still weren't done - Mummy had a mystery shop to do in Geelong and lucky us we even found a scrapbooking shop :o)

We woke Bennett up at 6:10 this morning and aftera couple of little grumps he started to demolish his presents.....

Well we seem all ready for the big day. We will have to get up about 6am so that Daddy doesn't miss anything so hopefully Bennett isn'ttoo grumpy when we wake him up. Maybe when he sees this....................














He will cheer up. And then when he sees his trampoline outside, well he'll just be the happiest little boy on the street

Backyard Blitz

Today we decided that the backyard needed a makeover mostly to make room for Bennett trampoline he is getting for his birthday. Unfortunately we were too much in the ZONE digging up all those horrid shurbs that we forgot to take BEFOR pictures but here are some from afterwards.

Oh and note to Grandma and Grandpa unfortunately Pine Bark is NOT $1.98 a bag :o( Paul tells me I was working off 1970's prices :o)















Shrubs removed but we decided to keep this cute tree and pine bark laid down.















Climbing equiptment moved to its new home (it has since been shifted around so the smaller one is behind the bigger one and some other toys are where the smaller one was)















Who would have thought there was a backyard under all that grass and weeds???

Birthday Party

Today was Bennett's birthday party and lots of fun was had by all :)
